LA ARCHE is now providing a new experience of traveling while dining.
no need your passport, no need to pack your luggage, just come into the restaurant and enjoy!

Since the pandemic started in March 2020, traveling seems impossible to us, not to other countries, but just to other states concerns us.

LA ARCHE, “THE ARK” in French, wants to take you sailing around the world, entrance ceiling with circle cove lighting represent compass as guidance when walk in.

The wave shape bar welcomes everyone onboard with us.

FLOOR PLAN

Using the ark to represent the concept of traveling around the world, bar area is created as wavy pattern to represent the ocean, which is the focal point of this restaurant. The helm of the ark shape was used as liquor shelves just on the east wall of the bar to draw attention to customers.

Circle booths is represented the compass along the south wall area. The doorway at the center of the south wall is leading to kitchen area, so serving/bus station is located at the same area as well.

REFLECTED CEILING PLAN

On the entrance ceiling, there is a compass shape as the guidance when people walk into the restaurant, following by the LED strip lighting that direct customers to the bar area which is the focal point of the restaurant.

Main dining area decorates with dropped wavy pattern by using resin material with metal finishes which will shine and reflect the LED light in between.

The ceiling of booth area, I created a cake shape with LED light around the circle and added a pendant light to enhance the lighting while dining.
